After the sample is digested, the cadmium ion forms a red complex with 6-bromobenzothiazole azonaphthol in an alkaline solution, which is dissolved in chloroform, then it is quantitative compared with the standard series. Then the absorbance is detected at a specific wavelength to calculate the cadmium concentration.
